What makes you different compared to school services or other private practices?

I take the child’s interests into my activities, making the child’s imagination come out into the sessions. For more information about how Imaginative SLP compares to the school services, please go here.

Can my child have services through Imaginative SLP and the school system?

Yes! Having both in school sessions and private sessions can be beneficial.

Do you provide speech for children are homeschooled?

Yes! I currently provide speech for many children who are homeschooled.

Do you provide speech for children with ADD/ADHD?

Yes! I currently provide speech for children who have ADD/ADHD.

Can my child have sessions even if they don’t need speech services?

Yes! Imaginative SLP offers “accelerated services”, working with your child on speech and language development for later grade levels.

What if I need to reschedule my session?

That’s the beauty of virtual services, as long as I get enough notice, I can swap your appointment to any time I’m not working with another client. So your child can still get their speech sessions even if you need to run an errand.

Do you accept insurance?

Many insurance companies will reimburse you directly. I will provide a superbill and I’m available to help point you in the correct direction for your insurance.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept the following forms of payment; Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express, FSA, HSA, Zelle, and Checks (should be made payable to Imaginative SLP, LLC.).

Do I have to be in Illinois or California?

I am licensed in Illinois and California. Speech Services in states other than Illinois or California would depend on the state. Please contact me to find out if I am able to provide services in another state.

Do you provide in person or in home therapy?

I only provide online teletherapy services and do not have a physical location at this time. My practice is committed to providing flexible online therapy. This may change in the future, if you would only be interested in in persons services, please fill out the form below.
